• Servicing pumps and related equipment
• Examining surfaces to be treated
• Preparing surfaces to be painted
• Applying preparatory treatments to surfaces
• Preparing and mixing paints and any other substances to be applied

• Checking the finished item
• Performing maintenance on tools, equipment and machinery

• Ability to use painting machinery and equipment

Pump Technicians make sure pump equipment is in good operating condition by completing the following duties: inspecting pumps, determining technical issues, completing maintenance and repair work, connecting hoses, reporting deficiencies to supervisors, and writing inspection reports.
